Colorful, fruity layers with whipped cream—fun treat for kids, customizable and easy to prepare for celebrations.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Jello Layers

01 - 1 box (3 oz) strawberry Jello
02 - 1 box (3 oz) orange Jello
03 - 1 box (3 oz) lemon Jello
04 - 1 box (3 oz) lime Jello
05 - 1 box (3 oz) berry blue Jello
06 - 1 box (3 oz) grape Jello
07 - 6 cups boiling water
08 - 6 cups cold water

→ Topping

09 - 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
10 - Rainbow sprinkles (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Combine 1 box grape Jello with 1 cup boiling water in a mixing bowl. Stir until fully dissolved, then add 1 cup cold water.
02 - Pour approximately 2 tablespoons of purple Jello mixture into the base of each of the 8 clear cups. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the layer is firm.
03 - Prepare the remaining Jello flavors—berry blue, lime, lemon, orange, and strawberry—one at a time. For each flavor, dissolve in 1 cup boiling water, add 1 cup cold water, and pour a layer over the previous set layer in all cups. Allow each layer to set completely in the refrigerator for 30 to 40 minutes before adding the next.
04 - Once the final layer has set, top each cup with a generous dollop of whipped cream or whipped topping. Sprinkle rainbow sprinkles over top, if desired.
05 - Serve the cups chilled for optimal texture and enjoyment.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • When you serve these, kids won't just eat—they'll stare and smile first.
  • Layering the colors turns an ordinary treat into a showstopper without any stress.
02 -
  • If you try to rush the chilling, colors will bleed and the layers are lost—patience is everything.
  • Using a small funnel or pouring spoon for each layer keeps the cups neat and vivid.
03 -
  • Starting with the darkest color as the first layer makes any mistakes easier to hide under lighter layers.
  • For sharp lines, wait until your finger leaves no dent in the Jello before adding the next hue.
